The MJK leathers are absolutely top of their class in all areas, I had the suit made for my wildcard ride at the British Grand Prix, so went out into the first of the practice sessions with the brand new suit. The fit and the materials are ace, and I was comfortable for an hours riding at Grand Prix pace in the brand new suit!

The ventilation in the suit is perfect for racing, I asked for additional venting in my new suit and it really paid off. In Europe we're racing in the high 30's and it pays dividends to keep as cool as you can.

Unfortunately for me I gave the suit its first christening early on in my first Grand Prix - crashing out on lap 3 of the race. I lost the front flat in 6th gear through Craner Curves and slid for what seem like ages along the tarmac. Aside from the expected scuffing the suit was undamaged - and more importantly so was I. In fact all credit to all my protective hear - HELD gloves (touched the desk during the slide) and Daytona boots (sat under me for a while). Watch the clip and see for yourself!
